These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Clearify website and services. By placing an order or using our website, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below. Please read them carefully before booking.
1. Who We Are
Clearify is a skip hire agency working with a nationwide network of fully licensed waste carriers and skip providers. We do not own or operate our own skips; instead, we facilitate skip hire services through our approved partners. All bookings, payments, and communications are handled through us to ensure a smooth and reliable experience for our customers.
2. Placing an Order
- All orders must be placed via our website or by contacting our customer support team.
- Once your order is received, we will contact you via phone or email to confirm your booking and arrange delivery.
- A booking is only considered confirmed once you have received an email confirmation from us.
3. Pricing and Payment
- All prices displayed on our website include delivery, collection, and standard hire durations unless stated otherwise.
- Additional charges may apply for:
- Council permits (if the skip is placed on a public road)
- Extended hire periods
- Restricted waste items
- Failed or aborted deliveries and collections
- Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
4. Permits and Placement
- If your skip is to be placed on public land (e.g. roadside), a council permit is required.
- Clearify can arrange permits through the relevant authority, but approval is subject to council processing times and may delay your delivery.
- It is your responsibility to ensure you have permission to place a skip on private land.
5. Acceptable Waste
You must not place prohibited or hazardous waste in the skip, including but not limited to:
- Asbestos
- Fridges or freezers
- Batteries
- Tyres
- Liquids, chemicals, or paint
- Gas canisters or cylinders
- Clinical or medical waste
If you are unsure about a specific item, please contact us before disposal. Charges may apply for non-compliance.
6. Skip Use Guidelines
- Skips must not be overfilled. Waste must be level with the top of the skip.
- Overfilled or overloaded skips may not be collected and may incur additional fees.
- The skip must be placed on firm, level ground with safe access for delivery and collection.
- You are responsible for the skip during the hire period, including its contents and any damage or misuse.
7. Delivery & Collection
- Delivery and collection dates are arranged at the time of booking and are subject to availability.
- We aim to meet your preferred dates, but exact times cannot be guaranteed.
- Failed deliveries or collections due to access issues, incorrect details, or overfilled skips may result in additional charges.

8. Cancellations and Refunds
- You may cancel your booking by contacting us as soon as possible.
- Cancellations made more than 24 hours before delivery may be eligible for a full or partial refund.
- If a skip has already been dispatched, a cancellation or wasted journey fee may apply.

9. Liability
- Clearify acts as an intermediary between you and the skip hire provider.
- While we ensure all partners are fully licensed and insured, we are not liable for any direct or indirect loss, damage, or delay caused by third-party providers.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the booking.
10. Website Use
- All content, images, and pricing on our website are for general information and subject to change without notice.
- You must not use our website for any unlawful purpose or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
