If you plan to place your skip on a public road or pavement, you’ll need a skip permit from your local council. We can arrange this for you as part of our service. No permit is required for skips placed on private property.
You can dispose of general household waste, garden waste, furniture, wood, metal, bricks, and rubble. However, hazardous materials like asbestos, tyres, fridges, paints, batteries, and chemicals are not allowed. Check our full waste restrictions list before hiring.
The standard skip hire period is 28 days, but we offer flexible hire durations to suit your needs. If you need a skip for longer, let us know when booking.
You can place your skip on your driveway, private land, or on a public road with a permit. Ensure there’s enough space for drop-off and collection.
